SUMMARY:Hands-On Training on Photonic Quantum Technologies
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nModern quantum technologies and the targeted 
 generation\, manipulation and use of individual quantum systems promise in
 novative applications\, especially in the fields of communication\, comput
 ing\, and sensor technology. Application scenarios and future markets for 
 the quantum industry and business are developing for these innovative appr
 oaches while a variety of state\, federal and European initiatives are cur
 rently pushing these fields scientifically and technically. With this work
 shop\, we offer an up-to-date overview of fundamentals and applications of
  photonic quantum technologies.\n\nThis two-day on-site workshop offers a 
 mix of\n\n 	introductory presentations\n 	hands-on lab experiments\n 	disc
 ussion sessions\n\nYou will get to know\n\n 	quantum sensing\n 	quantum im
 aging\n 	quantum communication\n\nFurthermore\, you will see real quantum 
 applications at the Fraunhofer IOF as well as tour some of our research la
