News › 10th Symposium on Optical Coatings for Laser Applications (OCLA)
On May 8, 2025, the tenth international symposium OCLA – Optical Coatings for Laser Applications will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania. It will be hosted by the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC). The event is aimed at experts from research and industry who deal with optical coatings, laser technologies and precise measurement technology.
The focus is on current developments in the production, characterization and application of optical thin-film systems for high-power lasers. In addition to contributions on low losses, laser damage limits and interface effects, the role of polishing processes and surface quality will also be discussed. The lecture program includes presentations by renowned experts from all over Europe.
On the day before, May 7, the symposium will begin with introductory events and guided tours of local companies and research institutions. The evening will be rounded off with a dinner in the center of Vilnius.
