The photonics industry is a booming high-tech sector. As a network, we make ourselves strong for technological future topics and push projects and formats for their successful further development in the interest of our more than 100 members.
EMPLOYEE TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
(Part-time or full-time – min. 30 hours)
This is where you come in:
- You are interested in photonic technologies – optical components and systems and their future applications, quantum technology, medical technology, laser and, measurement technology, etc. and enjoy bringing companies and research institutions together and planning joint projects.
- You moderate exchange rounds, working groups and project plans and search for suitable players in (as yet undiscovered) user industries.
- You collaborate on established workshop formats and technology events, but also develop new concepts in line with modern networking thinking.
- You initiate collaborative projects of our members, coordinate the application process and accompany the project consortia during the project period in marketing the results.
- Together with us, you will expand our network to the players in innovation promotion and support our member companies in identifying new methods and points of contact.
- In cooperation with the advisory board, you will take over the direction of the Jena Optics Colloquium, a traditional format that brings together leading scientists and industry representatives in a regular, high-profile presentation event.
- You share with us the representation of the network to the outside world, primarily in the technological field.
Your profile:
You have a degree – preferably in natural sciences and engineering and are burning for new technologies and business models.
Behind every technology development there are people – you enjoy making progress together, are outgoing and curious.
You like to organize, are obliging and find the right tone in dealing with experienced entrepreneurs, founding teams or scientists.
You bring project experience, a high degree of personal responsibility and applicable English skills. Your German language skills are very good.
