News › PHOTONICS Report 2023 · Starting signal for the industry survey
12th edition of the industry report in spring 2023 – Comprehensive report on the economic situation and development of skilled workers in the optical industry in Thuringia
Next Monday (January 16, 2023), the surveys for our OptoNet PHOTONICS Report 2023 will start. This year, the 115 member companies and another 100 companies of the photonics industry will be surveyed again.
For almost a year now, the Ukraine crisis has overshadowed global world events and is having a noticeable impact on the economy and society, such as increased energy costs and increased inflationary pressure. Together with the aftermath of the Corona pandemic and the worsening skilled labor problem, many companies continue to operate in a very challenging environment.
Against this background, OptoNet e.V. would like to represent your interests on a state and national level in a targeted manner: this year, we are therefore particularly asking for your assistance in order to be able to depict a resilient mood of our industry.
The Institute of Sociology at the FSU Jena will conduct the surveys on our behalf and arrange individual interview appointments in the coming days. The telephone survey will take about 25 minutes.
In spring of this year, we will compile and publish the results of the survey in a report as usual.
We would like to thank all members and partners in advance for their participation. Thanks to their support, we have been able to publish a comprehensive set of figures on the photonics industry in Thuringia since 2001, which has attracted considerable national and international attention.
