• Wel­come and gui­ded tour through the pro­duc­tion areas.
• Our sta­ti­ons:
  Large Optics: Pre­sen­ta­tion of machi­nery and an over­view of the company’s history.
  Small Optics: Intro­duc­tion to the pro­ces­ses of edging and poli­shing optics.
  Ultra­so­nic Clea­ning: Demons­tra­tion and expl­ana­tion of the ultra­so­nic clea­ning system.
  Mea­su­re­ment tech­no­logy: Insights into working with spec­tro­me­ters and their applications.
  Coa­ting: Pre­sen­ta­tion of the coa­ting sys­tem and how it works.

From 5:00 PM Get-tog­e­ther with deli­cious food:
Culinary high­lights and the oppor­tu­nity to meet more col­le­agues from LAYERTEC.

Return trip:
A train back to Jena departs at 6:23 PM, with the event wrap­ping up bet­ween 6:00–6:10 PM.

Opto­Net MASTER+ is Opto­Net e.V.’s pro­gram for pro­mo­ting young talent. Every year, ambi­tious master’s stu­dents in the rele­vant fields of stu­dies are given the oppor­tu­nity to get to know the com­pa­nies and rese­arch insti­tu­tes of Thu­rin­gia as the loca­tion for pho­to­nics. Com­pa­nies from the Opto­Net mem­ber group accom­pany the pro­gram exclu­si­vely, pro­vi­ding pro­fes­sio­nal input and tips on start­ing a career.
