News › PWB enco­ders – Award as part of the Thu­rin­gian Hid­den Cham­pion campaign

PWB enco­ders GmbH from Eisen­ach has been reco­gni­zed as a glo­bal mar­ket and tech­no­logy lea­der as part of the Thu­rin­gian Hid­den Cham­pi­ons cam­paign. The award from the Thu­rin­gian Minis­try of Eco­no­mics and the State Deve­lo­p­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (LEG) took place on the occa­sion of the ground-brea­king cerem­ony for the new inno­va­tion cen­ter at the com­pany’s headquarters. 

PWB enco­ders spe­cia­li­zes in high-pre­cis­ion enco­ders and pla­s­tic com­pon­ents that are used world­wide in indus­try, robo­tics and medi­cal tech­no­logy. The sen­sor solu­ti­ons enable the exact mea­su­re­ment of posi­tion, move­ment and speed in auto­ma­ted processes. 

The com­pany was foun­ded in 2009, curr­ently employs 45 peo­ple and gene­ra­tes an annual tur­no­ver of around 8 mil­lion euros.

With this award, PWB enco­ders now belongs to an exclu­sive cir­cle of lea­ding medium-sized com­pa­nies in Thuringia.
