SIOS Expert Day 2025

SIOS Meß­tech­nik GmbH invi­tes you to this year’s Expert Day for Laser Inter­fe­ro­me­tric Metro­logy on Octo­ber 29, 2025. The estab­lished spe­cia­list event will once again bring tog­e­ther lea­ding experts from indus­try and sci­ence in 2025 to dis­cuss cur­rent chal­lenges and inno­va­tive solu­ti­ons in high-pre­cis­ion mea­su­re­ment technology. 

Indus­try-wide chal­lenges at the cen­ter of the discussion

The event addres­ses key chal­lenges facing users of pre­cis­ion mea­su­re­ment tech­no­logy today: the com­pen­sa­tion of mea­su­re­ment uncer­tain­ties in dif­fe­rent envi­ron­men­tal con­di­ti­ons, the use of inter­fe­ro­me­try sys­tems under extreme con­di­ti­ons such as vacuum and the simul­ta­neous acqui­si­tion of seve­ral mea­su­red varia­bles for com­plex cali­bra­tion tasks.

Top-class spea­k­ers from Hei­del­berg Instru­ments and Phy­sik Instru­mente (PI) as well as SIOS experts will pre­sent cur­rent deve­lo­p­ments and share prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence from real appli­ca­ti­ons – from semi­con­duc­tor manu­fac­tu­ring to coor­di­nate mea­su­ring technology.

Live demons­tra­ti­ons and indi­vi­dual expert exchange

In addi­tion to the spe­cia­list pre­sen­ta­ti­ons, live demons­tra­ti­ons of the com­plete SIOS port­fo­lio – from multi-beam inter­fe­ro­me­ters to pre­cis­ion cli­mate mea­su­ring sta­ti­ons – will pro­vide a direct insight into the latest mea­su­re­ment tech­no­lo­gies. Par­ti­ci­pants can hold indi­vi­dual con­sul­ta­ti­ons with SIOS experts and dis­cuss spe­ci­fic mea­su­re­ment tasks. The event con­cept »Experts meet experts« places par­ti­cu­lar empha­sis on pro­fes­sio­nal exch­ange and inter­ac­tion in a per­so­nal atmosphere. 

Fac­tory tour and net­wor­king the evening before

A sup­port­ing pro­gram with fac­tory tours of SIOS deve­lo­p­ment and pro­duc­tion as well as a net­wor­king event on the evening before (28 Octo­ber 2025) will round off the expert day.

The num­ber of par­ti­ci­pants is deli­bera­tely limi­ted in order to ensure inten­sive sup­port and active exch­ange. The event will take place exclu­si­vely on site. The regis­tra­tion dead­line is Octo­ber 10, 2025.
