Integrating international professionals into the workplace and everyday life can be a major challenge. Living in Germany presents many tasks and hurdles for people from other countries. A key factor for successful collaboration, both professionally and personally, is mastering the local language. OptoNet has developed a new program designed to support your international employees in easing their integration.
Crash Course: Workplace German B1
Over the course of 14 sessions, participants will practice different aspects of the German language. Special emphasis will be placed on embedding language learning in professional and everyday contexts. The goal is to help participants use German more independently, confidently, and appropriately across a range of situations.

The Teacher

The course will be led by Paul Kreibich. Before joining OptoNet, he spent many years teaching German in integration courses as well as professional and technical language courses for levels A1–C2. He has also completed a variety of additional qualifications in this field. Furthermore, he worked as an examiner for general integration and professional language courses up to level C1 and has extensive experience with participants of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.

The course consists of 14 evening sessions, each from 5:00–8:15 p.m. (including a 15-minute break):

To launch this new format, we are offering a special introductory price:
€490 for member companies
€790 for non-members
The fee includes all course materials as well as cold beverages and snacks during the sessions. Member companies will be given priority in case of high demand.
Additional Information
All participants who attend regularly and successfully complete the course will receive an OptoNet certificate of participation. Please note that this is not an official language certificate, as such certificates can only be issued by accredited testing institutions.
Requirements & Booking Conditions
To achieve the target level of B1, participants are expected to already have a basic knowledge of German equivalent to A2 level prior to starting the course. In practice, this means being able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to everyday topics and communicate in simple, routine situations.
The course is limited to 12 participants. OptoNet reserves the right to limit the number of seats per company if demand is high.
