20th Annual Mir­ror Tech­no­logy SBIR/STTR Workshop

The 20th Annual Mir­ror Tech­no­logy Days will be in the week of Febru­ary 8 to 12, 2021. The work­shop will be held at the Hunt­sville Mar­riott at the Space and Rocket Cen­ter, 5 Tran­qui­lity Base, Hunt­sville, Ala­bama. Pre­sen­ta­ti­ons are expec­ted to start on Tues­day, Febru­ary 9 and end on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 11. Pro­jects to be reviewed include Govern­ment-spon­so­red mir­ror tech­no­logy deve­lo­p­ment for any appli­ca­tion (such as telesco­pes, ima­ging sys­tems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser sys­tems, solar energy, etc.) which requi­res opti­cal components.

Tech Days annu­ally sum­ma­ri­zes the USA Government’s invest­ment stra­te­gies and acti­vi­ties in deve­lo­ping tech­no­logy for any appli­ca­tion (such as telesco­pes, ima­ging sys­tems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser sys­tems, solar energy, etc.) which requi­res opti­cal com­pon­ents. Tech Days covers tech­no­logy invest­ment efforts in: opti­cal mate­ri­als; sub­strate design & manu­fac­ture; opti­cal fabri­ca­tion and metro­logy tech­no­logy; opti­cal coa­tings; wave­front sens­ing and con­trol via adap­tive optics; nano-tech­no­logy ima­ging tech­no­lo­gies; etc.
