Kick-Off Event Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (ZAKI)
On April 1, the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (ZAKI) was launched at the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena.
Together with you, we would like to advance the topic of artificial intelligence in Thuringia and, above all, bring it into application.
The center is designed as an essential element of the strategic development of EAH Jena in the coming years. The goal is to continue and further develop the existing strengths in research and teaching in one of the socially and economically most important subject areas, Artificial Intelligence, and to find application-oriented solutions for AI-related issues from different areas of the region.
To this end, we would like to cordially invite you to the ceremonial opening of ZAKI.

- Address by Mr. Wolfgang Tiefensee (Thuringian Minister for Economy, Science and Digital Society).
- Speeches by Rector Prof. Dr. Steffen Teichert and Vice President for Research and Development Prof. Dr. Kristin Mitte
- Project presentation by the scientific director of ZAKI, Prof. Dr. Dirk Schmalzried
