We take a stop at Mater­ion Bal­zer Optics Jena and take a behind-the-sce­nes look at their pro­duc­tion and space appli­ca­ti­ons. After­wards, we have a clo­ser look at the test and inspec­tion sys­tems at GÖPEL elec­tro­nic GmbH for the auto­mo­tive and medi­cal tech­no­logy, aero­space and indus­trial elec­tro­nics sectors.

Enab­ling Inno­va­tive Opti­cal Solu­ti­ons – Today, Mater­ion Bal­zers Optics is a glo­bally reco­gni­zed lea­der in cus­to­mi­zed opti­cal thin-film coa­tings and com­pon­ents for the pho­to­nics indus­try. The com­pany pos­s­es­ses broad and in-depth know­how in opti­cal thin-film coa­ting pro­ces­ses, com­ple­men­ted by sophisti­ca­ted pat­ter­ning, glass bon­ding and seal­ing, and fur­ther pro­ces­sing capa­bi­li­ties neces­sary for pro­du­cing opti­cal thin­film coa­ted com­pon­ents up to opti­cal sub­as­sem­blies. Highly expe­ri­en­ced and skil­led deve­lo­p­ment and engi­nee­ring teams col­la­bo­rate clo­sely with cus­to­mers to deve­lop inno­va­tive solu­ti­ons mee­ting their spe­ci­fic requi­re­ments. The com­bi­na­tion of these capa­bi­li­ties and skills places Mater­ion Bal­zers Optics at the fore­front of mar­kets in the pho­to­nics indus­try such as Life Sci­ence, Indus­try, Con­su­mer, Light­ing, Space and Automotive.

Enjoy Test­ing! GÖPEL elec­tro­nic GmbH deve­lops and manu­fac­tures as a world­wide lea­ding sup­plier elec­tri­cal and opti­cal mea­su­re­ment and test tech­no­logy as well as test and inspec­tion sys­tems for elec­tro­nic com­pon­ents, assem­bled PCBs, indus­trial elec­tro­nics and auto­mo­tive elec­tro­nic sys­tems. The busi­ness areas are Auto­mo­tive Test Solu­ti­ons, Embedded JTAG Solu­ti­ons, Indus­trial Func­tional Test and Inspec­tion Solu­ti­ons (AOI, AXI, SPI, IBV). Our auto­mo­tive pro­ducts are used in test sce­na­rios for auto­mo­tive ECUs, car seats, bus com­mu­ni­ca­tion, acou­stic and noise ana­ly­sis as well as in end-of-line and eMo­bi­lity appli­ca­ti­ons.
