At the end of the year, we are looking forward to the last virtual member meeting and introduce our new additions – the start-up orbit Sensorfusion and the German Optical Museum – at ›OptoNet live‹. Furthermore, there will be news from the office, a short review of the past year and of course the first dates for 2023!

Sensorfusion is the intelligent merging of data from multisensors or sensor networks to achieve the extraction of information of better quality, higher accuracy or reliability. The very young start-up from Jena is also new to the membership and will present the business model and potential application examples.
German Optical Museum Foundation

Progress is being made on the conversion of the German Optical Museum: with a renowned team of architects, artists and lighting designers, planning is underway on the way to an interactive world of experience in optics and photonics. Timo Mappes reports on the current implementation status and gives us an insight into the visions surrounding the new ›identity anchor‹ in Jena.
