OptoNet-Workshop · XR – From Concept to Application
Extended Reality (XR) is rapidly moving from vision to industrial reality. Whether in smart glasses, head up displays, industrial assistance systems or immersive visualization, XR technologies are creating new requirements for optical components, display technologies, sensing, metrology and scalable manufacturing.
This OptoNet workshop brings together experts from industry and research to discuss the full photonic value chain behind modern XR systems, from human perception and optical design to component technologies, quality assurance and industrial production.

Target Audience
The workshop is aimed at developers, engineers, and technology managers who are exploring XR as an application field or are already working on components and systems for it. The topics cover the entire range from individual components to volume production.
Industry Partners
The agenda was developed in close collaboration with TechnoTeam Bildverarbeitung GmbH and JOYA Team, two leading players in the XR ecosystem. TechnoTeam contributes leading expertise in light, color and display metrology, particularly in the testing and qualification of near-eye display systems. Joya Team brings broad experience in optical design, optoelectronic integration, prototyping and the development of innovative applications for emerging visual technologies.

- The participation fee is 195 EUR.
- You will receive a confirmation upon receipt of your registration.
- Cancellation policy: Cancellations are only accepted in written form. Cancellations are free of charge until 18 August 2026. After this date, the full participation fee will be charged. We are happy to accept a substitute participant.
- We reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice if the number of registrations is insufficient.
