THE ›THURINGIA INNOVATION AWARD‹ HAS ENTERED A NEW ROUND.

The award reco­gni­zes spe­cial achie­ve­ments, show­ca­ses suc­cess sto­ries and sup­ports net­wor­king – bey­ond the bor­ders of Thuringia.

As of now, the best Thu­rin­gian inno­va­tions of the year are being sought again! Under the motto ›App­re­cia­tion, Visi­bi­lity, Net­wor­king‹, the Thu­rin­gian Minis­try of Eco­nomy, Sci­ence and Digi­tal Society, tog­e­ther with the Foun­da­tion for Tech­no­logy, Inno­va­tion and Rese­arch Thu­rin­gia (STIFT), TÜV Thü­rin­gen e. V. and the Ernst Abbe Foun­da­tion, is laun­ching the com­pe­ti­tion for the ›Thu­rin­gia Inno­va­tion Award‹. The best solu­ti­ons, pro­ces­ses and pro­ducts are being sought in four cate­go­ries. The com­pe­ti­tion is open to com­pa­nies of all sizes, as well as indi­vi­du­als, uni­ver­si­ties and rese­arch insti­tu­tes based or ope­ra­ting in Thu­rin­gia. The prize is endo­wed with 100,000 euros. In addi­tion to the attrac­tive prize money, par­ti­ci­pants bene­fit from accom­pany­ing public rela­ti­ons work and access to valuable net­work cont­acts. The dead­line for appli­ca­ti­ons is June 30, 2023.

  • Wan­ted: inno­va­tive pro­ducts, pro­ces­ses or services
  • Par­ti­ci­pa­tion: com­pa­nies of all sizes, indi­vi­du­als, craft enter­pri­ses, uni­ver­si­ties and rese­arch insti­tu­ti­ons with head­quar­ters or ope­ra­ting faci­li­ties in Thuringia
  • Inno­va­tions: must have been pre­do­mi­nantly deve­lo­ped or manu­fac­tu­red in Thu­rin­gia | mar­ket launch has taken place or is imminent
  • Prize money: 100,000 euros | 4 cate­go­ries: Tra­di­tion & Future, Indus­try & Mate­ri­als, Digi­tal & Media, Light & Life
  • cross-cate­gory spe­cial prize for young com­pa­nies, endo­wed with 10,000 euros
  • Per­so­nal award: Ernst Abbe Prize for inno­va­tive entre­pre­neur­ship for spe­cial merits (pro­po­sal competition)
