News › Opto­Net grows – These are the new members

We are plea­sed about three new addi­ti­ons to Opto­Net: CS Con­sult, Xsight Optics and Micro-Hybrid Elec­tro­nic. This means that 108 play­ers are now active in the pho­to­nics network.
Behind CS Con­sult is Chris­tian Stickl, an expe­ri­en­ced con­sul­tant and senior advi­sor in the optro­nics sec­tor, who aims to sup­port start­ups with his exper­tise in com­mer­cia­liza­tion and SMEs with his ideas for mobi­li­zing finan­cing solu­ti­ons. Recently active in Thu­rin­gia, he brings deca­des of expe­ri­ence with com­pa­nies such as SICK, TESTO and Kappa Optronics.

Maria Nis­ser and Jan Sperr­hake have foun­ded the com­pany Xsight Optics GmbH and are working on the deve­lo­p­ment of opti­cal sen­sors for the cont­act­less recor­ding of health para­me­ters in medi­cine. Super-con­nec­ted and with a great vision, the two fit won­derfully into Opto­Net and expand the gro­wing num­ber of our inno­va­tive startups.

We have been working clo­sely with Dr. Knuth Baum­gär­tel and his team at Micro-Hybrid Elec­tro­nic for a long time and are now plea­sed that the part­ner­ship has become a mem­ber­ship. The Herms­dorf-based com­pany with more than 200 employees deve­lops and pro­du­ces minia­tu­ri­zed elec­tro­nic cir­cuits based on cera­mics and infrared sensors.
