ACM Coa­tings is the Ger­man sub­si­diary of Acktar Ltd (Israel) and sales and pro­duc­tion part­ner for Acktar’s light absor­bing films and coa­tings in Europe. Acktar is the world mar­ket lea­der for deep black mate­ri­als and coa­tings as well as a solu­tion pro­vi­der for stray light sup­pres­sion in the VIS, SWIR and MWIR wavelengths.
The truly bla­ckest RoHS and REACH com­pli­ant BLACK:
Acktar’s deep black light absor­bing mate­ri­als, black films and direct coa­tings are used to bla­cken opto-mecha­ni­cal com­pon­ents. They are also sui­ta­ble for opti­mi­zing beam gui­dance, for exam­ple for lens housings, light aper­tures, IR sen­sors, UV sen­sors, pas­sive infrared sen­sors, black housings, light detec­tors, UV absor­bers, etc.
The black light-absor­bing film Metal­Vel­vet is the deepest black film in the world and is available as an indus­trial coa­ting. At a wave­length of 10 nm – 10,000 nm, it has a hemi­sphe­ri­cal reflec­tion of less than 1%. Metal­Vel­vet has an ultra-dif­fuse black matt sur­face and out­per­forms the most important opti­cal black colors and coatings.
