News › For diversity & tolerance · OptoNet signs Diversity Charter

OptoNet e.V. signs the Diversity Charter and is thus visibly committed to an appreciative and prejudice-free working environment. The Diversity Charter is an initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions.

By signing the Diversity Charter, we want to send a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in the world of work and signal our appreciation of all employees regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and worldview, sexual orientation and social origin.

»We are facing fundamental changes in the world of work – and not just in our industry,« says Nora Kirsten, Managing Director of OptoNet. »With our commitment to diversity, we want to be a role model and work with our members and partners to adapt to social and economic changes such as globalization, demographic change and a declining workforce.″

The Diversity Charter is an initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions. For more information on the content of the Diversity Charter and the points we have committed to by signing it, please see the Charter text
