News › Pho­to­nics West 2023 · Pho­to­nics clus­ter on the way to California

The time has come: Pho­to­nics West – the top inter­na­tio­nal event of the pho­to­nics indus­try – will take place in San Fran­cisco, Cali­for­nia, at the end of Janu­ary. Num­e­rous exhi­bi­tors are loo­king for­ward to mee­ting the ›who’s who‹ of the com­mu­nity, pre­sen­ting their inno­va­tions and exchan­ging ideas with cus­to­mers, sup­pli­ers and repre­sen­ta­ti­ves of the sci­ence community.

Dr. Katja Böh­ler, Thuringia’s State Secre­tary for Rese­arch, Inno­va­tion and Eco­no­mic Deve­lo­p­ment, and the Mayor of the City of Jena, Dr. Tho­mas Nitz­sche, will visit the event accom­pa­nied by busi­ness repre­sen­ta­ti­ves and part­ners. A high­light for the Ger­man optics com­mu­nity will be the Ger­man Evening, which will be held at the Leica Store on Wed­nes­day, Febru­ary 1. It will be hos­ted by Pho­to­nics Ger­many, an asso­cia­tion of the lea­ding high-tech asso­cia­ti­ons Optec­Net and SPECTARIS.
