The photonics network OptoNet e.V. continues to grow. As of February 19, 2025, we welcome five new members to our network and look forward to a good cooperation.

Who are the new players and how can they enrich the network?

  • The Badische Industrie-Edelstein GmbH specializes in the production of small and micro parts made of extremely hard materials such as sapphire, ruby, carbide and oxide ceramics. Precise grinding and polishing processes with diamond tools produce high-quality components for medical technology, measurement technology and precision optics.
  • The FabuLens GmbHa subsidiary of the German Federal Agency for Leap Innovations (SPRIN‑D), is developing the innovative LENSCURE™ manufacturing process. This has the potential to bring digital imaging back to Germany, unbundle global supply chains and strengthen the resilience of the industry. FabuLens is thus making an important contribution to Germany’s innovative strength and independence as a business location.
  • PartPrinZ is a company based in Jena, Germany, that has developed a digital platform for the procurement of mechanical drawing parts, especially CNC parts. This platform enables buyers to find suitable machining companies for their specific requirements within seconds. Users are immediately shown relevant suppliers, including information on prices, delivery times and other key figures.
  • JETI has been developing and producing high-precision spectroradiometers and spectrometers for reliable measurement results for over 25 years. Specializing in compact array spectrometers, the products combine maximum system stability with excellent stray light suppression – with maximum cost efficiency and easy handling.
  • The young transatlanticsAI GmbH develops systems and solutions in the field of vision and has extensive expertise in optoelectronics and system integration.
